Sparrows Capital has appointed Steven Cohen as a senior investment analyst.

Cohen brings more than 10 years of experience in investment management and financial planning to the role. He previously led the development and implementation of in-house investment strategies at Lumin Wealth as an investment manager. Prior to this, Cohen was a paraplanner at Lubbock Fine Wealth Management. Cohen will work alongside Sparrows Capital CIO, Raymond Backreedy, as the firm looks to drive growth in its SCore MPS proposition.

M&G has named Kirsten Morgan and Shoaib Ahmed as senior technical managers in its technical team.

The appointments were made to enhance M&G’s capabilities and expands the support available to financial advisers across pensions, tax, and wider financial planning. Morgan has more than 25 years of experience in technical consulting and product development, with previous roles at Standard Life, Aberdeen, and Prudential. Ahmed brings technical expertise across trusts, estate planning, and multifaceted client scenarios to the role. He was previously a technical specialist at Rathbones, where he supported advisers with specialist insight into tax, trusts and pensions planning.

LGT Wealth Management has appointed its chief technology officer (CTO), Prachi Kodlikeri, as partner.

Kodlikeri joined LGT Wealth Management as CTO in April 2024 and has supported the enhancement of the firm’s technology capabilities to better support advisers and clients. Prior to joining LGT Wealth Management, Kodlikeri spent over 13 years at Goldman Sachs, where she held a number of senior technology roles progressing to senior vice president. She subsequently spent five years at Ruffer as technology director and partner.
