People moves: Utmost, WPS Advisory, and Ocorian

Utmost has appointed Natalie Yeo as head of high net worth underwriting.

Yeo brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, having held senior positions and underwriting roles at global firms including AIA, Reinsurance Group of America, Transamerica, Swiss Re China Branch Beijing, and Munich Re. Utmost said Yeo’s high net worth underwriting expertise, cross-border experience, and collaborative approach to working with partners had established her reputation for supporting business growth.

WPS Advisory has named Fiona Tait as its head of advice standards.

In the newly created role, Tait will be responsible for overseeing and developing advice standards across the business, while helping to shape WPS Advisory’s client service across self-service, guidance, and regulated financial advice. Tait brings almost 30 years of experience to the role, having held long-term positions at Aegon and Royal London. She was most recently working at Intelligent Pensions where she helped to develop its advice proposition.

Ocorian has appointed Ryan McGrath as global head of innovation, a newly created role.

McGrath has spent his 15-year career at EY and PwC, where he led large-scale transformations across the financial services industry. During his nine-year spell at EY, he led enterprise transformation and AI deployment within the firm’s Financial Services Technology Consulting practice. At Ocorian, McGrath will work across the business to identify high-value opportunities driven by client-demand, iterating new solutions, and translate concepts into scalable capabilities.
