7IM has combined its Private Client business with Amicus Wealth to launch a new firm, Amicus Wealth Management.
Amicus Wealth was acquired by 7IM in December 2023, and has merged with 7IM’s Private Client business to form a unified firm with greater scale.
Amicus Wealth Management will look to provide broader advisory expertise, specialist knowledge, and financial planning capabilities to support clients’ financial decisions and outcomes.
The new wealth management company will be based in London and led jointly by managing directors, Ben Covey and David Fry.
The combined firm will comprise of more than 100 professionals overseeing over £3bn of assets for nearly 4,000 clients.
As part of the merger, the firm is launching a new brand and visual identity, aiming to reflect the “confidence, ambition and forward‑looking direction” of Amicus Wealth Management.
Clients will remain with their existing advisers following the merger, with the 7IM platform continuing to underpin client portfolios.
Investment management capabilities will continue to be provided and supported by the 7IM Investment Team.
