Adviser platform Marloo adopts Morningstar investment research and data

Marloo, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed for financial advisers, has reached an agreement with Morningstar to integrate the provider’s research and data into its client offering.

Under the agreement, data and research from the Morningstar MCP Server will be adopted onto the platform.

Marloo said the development reflected growing demand for the greater integration of advisers’ core functions, including access to proprietary investment content, within a single AI-enabled platform.

Morningstar’s research and data will be available to all of Marloo’s UK-based clients.

The data will cover Morningstar’s universe of funds and around 1,500 model portfolio solutions, with clients able to access fund information including performance and risk, portfolio weightings, and sector exposures.

This aims to enable like-for-like fund comparisons and help advisers make investment recommendations based on specific client requirements.

Marloo clients will be able to conduct fund research and compile reporting without leaving the platform.
