Brooks Macdonald launches offering to scale independent advice firms

Brooks Macdonald has announced the launch of Brooks Macdonald Strategic Partnerships (BMSP), an offering aimed at helping independent financial advice firms scale for the future.

Through BMSP, firms will be able to take advantage of Brooks Macdonald’s scale while retaining their independence, culture, and client relationships.

Brooks Macdonald said the launch was in response to rising demand across the UK advice market for deeper strategic partnerships that extend beyond traditional outsourced investment management.

This demand was attributed to increasing regulatory complexity, rising operational costs, accelerating consolidation, and succession planning pressures reshaping the landscape for these firms.

BMSP will expand the support offered, including investment proposition design and governance; suitability and review process enhancement; operational efficiency and technology integration; pricing and proposition strategy; growth and acquisition planning; and succession and long-term strategic planning.

It combines investment management with support aimed at helping independent advice firms to scale, strengthen governance frameworks, modernise operating models, and enhance long-term enterprise value.

The offering is primarily aimed at medium-sized firms looking for greater operational resilience and scale without pursuing full consolidation.
