Charles Stanley has made two investment manager appointments in its Investment Management Services team.
The firm, which is part of Raymond James Wealth Management, has appointed Hitesh Mistry and Gregory Perdon as investment managers. In their new roles, they will be responsible for providing Charles Stanley clients with investment management services to develop existing and new client relationships. Mistry brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, specialising in discretionary portfolio strategies and advisory services. He joins from Rowan Dartington, the discretionary arm of St. James’s Place, where he spent nearly 10 years as investment manager. Meanwhile, Perdon joins from McInroy & Wood where he was investment director, having previously spent 12 years at Arbuthnot Latham where he was co-chief investment officer. He brings 26 years of experience in portfolio management and high net worth advice to the role.
Stonehage Fleming has named Patrick Guarda as global head of insurance solutions.
Guarda joins the multi-family office from UBS where he was head of wealth planning life insurance Europe & Switzerland and chair of the board of UBS’s in-house French insurance broker. He brings more than 20 years of experience in life insurance, wealth planning and tax to the business. Prior to working at UBS, Guarda worked as a tax adviser at several international law firms, including Clifford Chance and SJ Berwin. In the newly created role of global head of insurance solutions, Guarda will build out and lead Stonehage Fleming’s insurance solutions globally across the firm’s offices, product types and client markets.
Tideway Wealth has appointed Harry Donoghue as a charted financial planner.
Donoghue has joined the firm’s wealth management team and has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a particular focus on helping people prepare for, and transition through, retirement. Donoghue previously worked at The Private Office.
