People moves: FNZ, Wealth at Work, and Ogier Global

FNZ has announced that Blythe Masters will be stepping down as group CEO, with Stephen Welch to take up the role on an interim basis.

Masters will continue in an advisory capacity for six months to help ensure an orderly transition. The FNZ board has begun a process to appoint a permanent group CEO, while Welch will serve as interim CEO alongside his role as group chair. The board thanked Masters for her “significant contribution” over the past two years. Masters took over as group CEO from FNZ founder, Adrian Durham, in August 2024, and has overseen the firm’s transformation programme and divestment of non-core assets to focus on wealth management technology.

Wealth at Work has appointed Mark Duckworth as CEO.

Duckworth will succeed David Cassidy from 1 December 2026, with chief financial officer, Stuart Payne, to serve as interim CEO until that date. Duckworth joins Wealth at Work with over 30 years of experience in financial services, having previously served as CEO of Schroders Personal Wealth (SPW) and Openwork. Wealth at Work said Duckworth had a proven track record of organic growth acceleration in advice businesses.

Ogier Global has named Tom Murray as director in its Private Wealth Services team in Jersey.

Murray joins Ogier Global with more than 13 years of experience in offshore private client services. He advises high and ultra-high net worth families on the governance, administration and oversight of complex trust and corporate structures. In his new role, Murray will support the growth of Ogier Global's private wealth offering, working with clients, intermediaries and colleagues across the firm's international network.
