Wealth management consultancy Foster Denovo has promoted Helen Lovett to group managing director.
Lovett steps into the newly created role, working closely with CEO Roger Brosch, setting and delivering strategic direction, financial performance, and operational capabilities across the group. Since joining Foster Denovo in April 2012 as chief operating officer, Lovett has been involved in strengthening operational and risk framework, and enhancing leadership capability, while managing a range of strategic growth initiatives. She will assume joint responsibility for profit and loss performance, oversee operational delivery across all business areas, and lead transformation and integration programmes in line with the firm’s long-term vision.
P1 Investment Management has appointed Joanne Benson and Emma Clarke as investment managers.
The pair add more than 45 years' combined experience to the firm's discretionary model portfolio offering for financial advisers. Benson joins from Copia Capital, where she was managing director of the discretionary investment management business. She led the discretionary fund manager and sat on the executive committee. Clarke joins from HFMC Wealth, where she was a member of the investment committee with responsibility for portfolio management and fund selection across asset classes. She has more than 20 years' experience across discretionary and asset management firms.
W1M Wealth Management has named Nick Travis as a portfolio manager in its Private Wealth team.
Travis’ appointment comes after the firm completed its acquisition of Vermeer Partners. He joins from Evelyn Partners, where he served as head of entrepreneurs for more than seven years. He originally joined Smith & Williamson in 2012 and remained with the business through its merger with Tilney to form Evelyn Partners. During his time at Smith & Williamson, Nick also specialised in advising entrepreneurs on their wealth and investment needs. At W1M, Travis will focus on expanding W1M’s existing proposition for entrepreneurs, bringing W1M’s integrated offering to more clients.
