People moves: M&G Life, Foster Denovo, and Cazenove Capital

M&G has appointed Miriam Breen as head of client engagement in its Life Investment Office.

Breen will focus on deepening engagement with advisers and supporting the expansion of M&G’s PruFund range of smoothed funds. The Life Investment Office is responsible for the management and strategic oversight of PruFund. Breen brings more than 15 years of experience to the role, joining from BNP Paribas Asset Management where she led the UK and Ireland Index and ETF business. Prior to this, she held several senior distribution roles at Legal & General Investment Management.

Foster Denovo has named Aytekin Can as its head of data strategy and management information delivery.

In this newly created position, Can will oversee the role data plays in how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping wealth management and employee benefits consulting. He has more than 20 years of experience working with advisory firms growing by acquisition, joining Foster Denovo as it creates its own ‘data lake’ to update the way data is used, stored, and accessed.

Cazenove Capital has appointed Jamie Stafford as business development director for the south of England.

In the role, Stafford will be responsible for driving business development across southern England, building and strengthening relationships with intermediary partners and professional connections. He will work to support advisers and clients, and develop Cazenove Capital’s discretionary fund management (DFM) offering. Stafford joins from Liontrust Asset Management, where he was most recently strategic partners relationship manager. Prior to this, he worked at Architas and AXA UK.
