Quintet launches B2B platform for institutional and professional investors

Quintet Private Bank has announced the launch of Quintet Financial Services (QFS), a B2B platform for institutional and professional investors in the UK and Europe.

The platform will be delivered through the Quintet group’s regulated entities, including Brown Shipley in the UK.

QFS replaces Quintet’s previous Asset Servicing & Financial Intermediaries structure.

The bank said this reflected a sharpening strategic focus on accelerating growth within its institutional business, including services provided to UK clients through Brown Shipley.

The services aim to bring together Quintet’s custody, execution, and fund servicing capabilities under an institutional structure.

QFS has been positioned as a distinct B2B business line, seeking to strengthen the group’s ability to meet the evolving needs of intermediaries and institutional clients.

It operates a digital-first operating model, with regional teams providing principal‑to‑principal client support, reinforced by a technology platform.

QFS will continue to expand its product offering and capabilities going forward, with focus areas including liquid and alternative funds, fund depositary services, life insurance custody, and digital assets services.

“The launch of QFS reflects our focused commitment to serving institutional and professional investors with clarity and confidence,” said QFS group head, Thomas Klein.

“Firmly anchored within Quintet, we combine a digital‑first approach and local expertise with the group’s strength and discipline, bringing a distinct institutional focus to how we organise and deliver these activities across Quintet’s regulated entities.”

Brown Shipley head of FIM UK, Philipp Iarmaltchouk, added: “Our focus has been on becoming a trusted, agile partner to intermediaries, combining deep sector expertise with a forward-looking approach.

“As part of QFS, we are well positioned to build on this foundation. Drawing on our UK expertise and Quintet’s pan-European infrastructure, through Brown Shipley, we offer intermediaries greater flexibility and insight, supporting them in delivering high-quality outcomes to their clients within a regulated UK framework.”
