WealthAi launches AI operating system for advisers

WealthAi has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) operating system to expand its platform to independent financial advisers (IFA) and smaller advice firms.

Its WealthAi for Advisors offering aims to bring together functions typically handled across multiple systems and AI tools, including meeting notetaking, client management, document generation, administration, market information, and compliance.

The company said that beta testers using the new operating system reported an initial 60 per cent reduction in time spent on routine client administration.

Firms using the platform do not have to replace their existing practice management systems or embark on large-scale IT implementation, it noted.

WealthAi said the launch came amid an increase in advice firms looking to AI solutions to reduce the administrative burden on advisers to help increase the number of clients they can serve.

The platform aims to take firms beyond the first phase of AI adoption to give smaller firms access to an AI operating model where information and workflows are connected across the client lifecycle.

Its foundation is WealthAi’s Client File, which is a an AI-native client context and workflow layer designed for wealth management, alongside an AI assistant that works across client records, documents, and market information.

“Advisers have had a first taste of AI through tools like meeting notetakers, but that’s only scratching the surface of what this technology can do,” said WealthAi founder and CEO, Jason Nabi.

“Most traditional wealth technology was designed for people to operate software - updating practice management systems, moving information between systems and following rigid workflows. We think the next generation will be designed for AI agents to operate across the business.

“We’ve built an AI-powered CRM designed for wealth, that works with agents across administration and compliance - all the intelligence in a single platform across users and agents, giving smaller advice firms access to the kind of operational capability that has traditionally required much bigger teams.

“Whether you’re a single adviser or a 200-person private bank, the principle is the same: using AI to remove operational friction and help people make faster, better decisions.”
