London-based boutique wealth management firm K2 Private Wealth has launched this week, seeking to attract clients finding it difficult to access traditional private banks.
The company specialises in strategic financial planning, pension optimisation, and tax-efficient investing, with strategies tailored to each client’s risk profile, financial needs, and time horizon.
It was co-founded by experienced finance professionals Blake Reddy and Mark Bloom, who have backgrounds in portfolio, fund, and asset management, and financial business management respectively.
K2 Private Wealth said it had recognised a ‘growing gap’ in the market as high net worth individuals (HNWI) were finding it increasingly difficult to access traditional private banks, and that the investment solutions offered were often limited and lacked ‘the bespoke touch’.
Specialising in providing services for client with investible assets of between a couple of hundred thousand pounds and £5m, its aim is to deliver the same level of bespoke service expected of private banks while providing a personal touch and accessibility.
Reddy began advising private clients in 2012, later founding a UK top 100 startup firm and managing funds for a $2bn family office in the US.
Meanwhile, Bloom has more than 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and finance professional, and has established asset management companies in Singapore, Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, and the UK.
K2 Private Wealth has a sister company, K2 FX, which provides foreign exchange services to corporates and individuals, led by Joshua Bale and Jusden Halabi.
