People moves: Canaccord Wealth, Quanta Group, and Openwork

Canaccord Wealth has appointed Anthony Champion as its chief distribution officer.

Prior to joining Canaccord Wealth, Champion was head of intermediaries at RBC Brewin Dolphin. He has been appointed to the newly created role to drive the wealth manager’s national distribution strategy. Working with intermediary partners across the UK, Champion will look to enhance and broaden the firm’s adviser proposition. He will report to Canaccord Wealth managing director, Duncan Stratford, becoming part of the senior leadership team.

Quanta Group has named Harriet Griffin as its group chief operating officer.

The group comprises Wealthtime, Copia Capital and Craven Street Wealth. Griffin has been appointed to the newly created role with more than 18 years of financial services experience. She joins from consolidator Perspective, where she was chief operating officer. Prior to that, she was chief operating officer at Kingswood Group and spent seven years at Charles Stanley in management and senior leadership roles.

The Openwork Partnership has appointed Adam Jones as chief technology officer (CTO).

Jones brings more than 20 years of experience across wealth management investment platforms, fintech, and consultancy to the role. He joins from Brooks Macdonald, where he was responsible for shaping technology strategy, developing digital platforms and overseeing data and IT operations. His previous roles include CTO and strategic development director at Seccl, and CTO at Redington. At Openwork, Jones will be responsible for driving the technology transformation programme for the group.
