Wealth management platform FNZ has announced two executive committee appointments.
Peter Hiom has joined the firm as group head of markets. Based in London, Hiom will lead FNZ Markets, which provides clients with multi-asset listed securities execution, order management systems, post-trade software, and securities clearing and settlement services, alongside foreign exchange and other downstream capabilities. His previous roles include deputy CEO of ASX and senior positions at the Sydney Futures Exchange and the London International Financial Futures Exchange. Meanwhile, Ryan Beach has joined FNZ as group head of North America. He brings almost 20 years of executive leadership experience across wealth management, investment platforms and fintech to the role. He was previously CEO of F2 Strategy and, prior to that, president and COO at Orion.
Schroders has appointed Ed Mitchell as head of client group strategy execution and delivery.
Mitchell joins from BNY Investments, where he was managing director and global head of distribution business operations for six years. He also previously worked at Henderson Global Investors and Barclays. At Schroders, Mitchell will report to global head of client group, Matt Oomen. In this newly created role, Mitchell will be responsible for enhancing and delivering Schroders’ sales and client strategy, as well as its risk and governance frameworks across the client group.
Private wealth and corporate services provider FCM Trust has announced the promotions of two new directors.
Karen O’Hanlon and Franck Matthews have been made directors on the FCM board, effective immediately. FCM Trust client services director, Karen O’Hanlon, has more than 30 years of experience in the private client sector, dealing extensively with ultra high net worth families and their advisers. Franck Matthews steps into his new role while continuing as client services director & head of incentives. He has over 25 years of experience in Jersey’s financial services and extensive governance knowledge.
