Quilter has announced the appointment of Sam Christopher as proposition director.

In the role, Christopher will have responsibility for leading the development and delivery of Quilter’s proposition across platform, investment, and advice. She joins Quilter from 7IM where she was head of platform, overseeing the platform service function, experience team, and proposition development. Christopher has more than 20 years of experience in the platform, wealth, and advice industries. Prior to working at 7IM, she also worked at Fidelity International, M&G, and Legal & General.

Shackleton Advisers has named Marcus Bolitho and Will Gold as chief marketing officer and head of communications respectively.

Prior to their most recent positions at global equities boutique Goodhart Partners LLP, Bolitho and Gold co-founded Bold Partners in May 2024, a specialist marketing consultancy with Shackleton as one of its clients. Bolitho has 30 years of marketing experience, with previous roles including global head of marketing at Jupiter Asset Management and Old Mutual Global Investors/Merian Global Investors. Gold has 16 years of experience in house in international asset and wealth management firms, including as head of investment marketing at Jupiter Asset Management and at Old Mutual Global Investors/Merian Global Investors.

Wealth, pensions, and investment advisory firm Isio has appointed Gareth Roberts as chief financial officer.

Roberts will take charge of overseeing the organisation’s financial operations amid a period of expansion for the firm following recent investment from Aquiline. He joins Isio from Howden, where he was finance director. Prior to this, Roberts served as group financial controller at Bupa and as a partner at Deloitte.
