US-based investment manager Barrow Hanley has announced the launch its US Mid Cap Value Equity Fund to the UK market.

The firm said the move aimed to provide UK investors with access to its mid cap value investment strategy, which has “consistently delivered superior risk-adjusted returns”.

The Barrow Hanley US Mid Cap Value Equity Fund focuses on mid-sized companies that it sees as offering a combination of growth potential and lower volatility compared to smaller companies.

It seeks to exploit market inefficiencies by using a disciplined, value-centric investment process.

Managed by a team of experienced investment professionals, the fund aims to outperform the Russell Mid Cap Value Index over a full market cycle by maintaining a high active share and focusing on securities with attractive valuations and improving fundamentals.
