People moves: Quilter, HSBC Asset Management, and Fairway Group

Quilter has announced the appointment of Warren Vickers as commercial director of distribution.

Vickers joins the firm from The Openwork Partnership, where he was commercial director and responsible for supporting its adviser network and central teams. His previous experience in the financial advice sector also included roles as managing director at Tenet Group and director at TCC Group. At Quilter, Vickers will work with chief distribution officer Steve Gazard to support the continued development and evolution of Quilter’s distribution proposition and support to advisers and firms across both internal and external channels.

HSBC Asset Management has named Dan Rudd as CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd and head of UK wholesale.

Rudd will be responsible for the development and oversight of the firm’s UK business, as well as leading the UK wholesale sales team. He has more than 30 years of experience in the asset management sector and has worked for HSBC Asset Management since 2005. Most recently, he was head of wholesale Northern Europe and has led the growth if its wholesale business in the UK, Northern Europe, and Middle East. Rudd’s appointment as HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd and head of UK wholesale is subject to regulatory approval.

Jersey financial services provider Fairway Group has appointed Nathan Petty as client director in its private client team.

Petty has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, having held senior positions at firms including Dominion, PraxisIFM, and Valla Limited. He brings expertise in private equity, institutional investment structuring, and complex private wealth solutions to Fairway, enabling him to deliver strategic, tailored services to meet the evolving needs of high net worth clients. In his new role, Petty will focus on strengthening existing relationships with clients and intermediaries, while identifying new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
