People moves: Addepar, Brown Shipley, and Ocorian

Addepar has appointed Peter O’Brien as chief revenue officer and Janeen France as its first chief client officer.

The global technology and data platform for investment professionals said the new leadership appointments advanced its commitment to clients and partners across the business. O’Brien joined Addepar in 2014 and most recently served as global head of growth and partnerships. He also previously worked as an investment banker at Citi. France joined Addepar nearly six years ago, and most recently worked as senior vice president, head of go-to-market strategy & operations. Prior to that, she built and led Addepar’s global client management and success teams, and held leadership roles at HighTower Advisors and J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, has named Melissa Buray as client adviser in Birmingham.

Reporting to Brown Shipley head of north region, Katrina Johnson, Buray will work to support private clients and strengthen relationships with professional intermediaries throughout the Midlands. She joins from HSBC’s private banking division, where she most recently served as a relationship manager for clients in the East Midlands. Buray also previously held roles at Crédit Agricole, State Street and Citi.

Ocorian has appointed Arvinder Mudhar as its chief digital officer.

Based in London, Mudhar will lead Ocorian’s digital strategy including business as usual operations, automation, information security, and transformation. Previously, he was group chief information officer at private equity-backed insurance company IQUW and brings more than 30 years’ experience across the financial services sector, including roles at Barclays Wealth, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan.
