Wealth management platform FNZ has appointed Dame Alison Rose as chair of FNZ UK and a member of the FNZ Group Board.

Rose has 30 years of financial services, transformation, and regulatory experience, and currently serves as chair of Mishcon de Reya and senior partner at Charterhouse Capital Partners. She was chief executive officer at NatWest Group until 2023 following a 30-year career at the bank, where she also held the roles of deputy chief executive officer and chief executive officer of the commercial and private banking business. In the 2023 New Year’s Honours List, Rose received a damehood for services to financial services. At FNZ, she will work closely with FNZ’s boards to accelerate the company’s strategy and support its commitment to making investing more accessible.

PortfolioMetrix has named Alex Funk as CEO, with founder Brandon Zietsman transitioning into the role of executive chair.

The changes are expected to take effect from 1 January 2026. Funk is currently PortfolioMetrix UK CIO and will retain his investment responsibilities alongside the role of CEO. He also announced further changes to the global executive team, naming Sharné Sanders as chief commercial officer, Oscar Reitsma as chief operating officer, and Natalie Horton as chief financial officer. Zietsman will continue to work closely with Funk in his new position as executive chair, focusing on group strategic initiatives, key partner relationships, and the evolution of the business.

Stonehage Fleming has appointed Mark Swart as head of family office division, Isle of Man.

Swart moves to the jurisdiction from the firm’s Jersey office, where he was a partner in the family office division. He has taken responsibility for Stonehage Fleming’s family office business in the Isle of Man having spent nearly a decade in the firm’s Jersey office, serving international ultra and high net worth families as relationship manager. He rose from senior associate in 2016 to partner in 2024. Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2016, Swart worked in the financial sector in South Africa, starting his career as an auditor with Deloitte.
