People moves: Wealth Club, Amundi, Afin Bank, and Guernsey Finance

Wealth Club has appointed Susannah Streeter as chief investment strategist.

Streeter joins the investment service for high net worth investors after five years at Hargreaves Lansdown, where she was head of money and markets. Previously, Streeter was at the BBC’s Economics and Business Unit as a senior correspondent and financial news anchor. At Wealth Club, Streeter will lead the company's investment commentary across financial markets, explaining key economic and monetary trends affecting portfolios and helping investors uncover opportunities across venture capital trusts, EIS, single company investments, managed portfolios, and private market funds. She will work with the investment research and marketing teams to expand content and commentary on key investment themes.

Amundi has made several appointments to its leadership team.

Alexandre Lefebvre has been named as deputy head of real assets and alternatives. He has worked for Amundi since 1999, starting as a financial operations and external growth project leader at Credit Lyonnais Asset Management until 2004. Lefebvre subsequently worked across several Amundi entities, including Credit Agricole Asset Management, Amundi Iberia, and Amundi London. In 2020, he was appointed CEO of Sabadell AM. Pierre-Adrien Domon has taken over the role of CEO of Sabadell AM. He began his career at Natixis Axeltis in London (now Euroclear FundsPlace) as a client relationship manager. He then joined Fund Channel where he held several positions, including CEO from 2020. Michaël Martineau has become Fund Channel CEO, bringing more than 25 years of experience in banking, finance, and IT manager. He was previously deputy CEO - products, strategy and innovation of Fund Channel. Finally, Claire Chabrier has been appointed as head of direct investing – private markets within Amundi’s Real Assets and Alternatives division. She has 25 years of experience in private equity and has worked for Societe Generale Asset Management and Amundi Private Equity Funds.

Afin Bank has promoted Tippie Malgwi to head of high net worth and diaspora banking.

Malgwi will lead the bank’s newly re-branded Afin High Net Worth proposition, originally known as Afin Premier. During his time with Afin Bank, Malgwi has driven the development of the bank’s high net worth proposition for ‘asset rich, income light’ borrowers since he joined last year. His previous experience includes roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Friends Life, Aldermore, and Arbuthnot Latham, where he spent almost seven years supporting high net worth clients.

Guernsey Finance has appointed Canaccord Wealth CEO, international, Andy Finch, to its board of directors.

Finch brings more than 40 years of international experience in the financial services industry to the board, and joins Glen Tonks and deputy Rhona Humphreys as new non-executive members. Since joining Canaccord in 2002, Finch has held several senior leadership roles, most recently as managing director of Canaccord Wealth Funds. He currently chairs the International Executive Committee and represents the International division on the firm’s Strategic Oversight Committee.
